From people we’ve known for years to strangers, whenever we mention that we offer postpartum services they ask “What does a postpartum doula do?” Almost every.single.time. we answer that question the person asking responds with “wow! I would’ve loved that!”

We can help with snuggling/holding/calming baby while you nap alone, or we can attend to the light chores while you rest with baby. We can help with nighttime rest, bringing your baby to you for feedings, and doing all of the prep and post-work like diaper changes and getting your baby back to sleep, so you can get as much rest as possible.
Emotionally, Postpartum doulas at RCD can help by offering non-judgmental support. Whether you need someone to listen about your rough day, process your birth, or just another adult to talk to, we’re here for you!
